Footage from Kubrick’s films was juxtaposed against classical photographs

A video recently posted on the web combines footage from Stanley Kubrick’s films and classical photographs. It is believed that the photos, featured in the video, may have influenced some of the scenes in his films.

The video features footage from The Shining, Eyes Wide Shut, Lolita and Killer’s Kiss. They are juxtaposed against the photographs published in the Look magazine, where Stanley Kubrick had worked before he began his filmmaking career.

The video was created by Candice Drouet. Previously, she published a similar video, which featured footage from Xavier Dolan’s works and the classical films the Canadian director drew on.
